Employment contract

Permanent employment contract: the contract is valid for an indefinite period of time and the number of working hours is laid down in the contract.
 
Flexible employment contract: people working on a flexible contract (flex workers) are not employed on a permanent basis and the number of working hours is not laid down in the contract.
Flex workers can be categorised by type of contract:
- temps;
- stand-by and substitute workers;
- other.
