The data presented in this article are from the Integrated Safety Monitor 2009, which distinguishes the following offences and groups of offences: violent offences (sexual offences, assault, threatening behaviour), property crimes (burglary or attempted burglary, bicycle theft, car theft, theft from inside cars, pickpocketing, incl. with violence, and other theft), vandalism (damage to, theft from car exteriors, other vandalism) and other not further specified offences. Other offences are not included in 'total offences'.
