Fewer business services providers optimistic about future turnover
In May, the number of business services providers expecting turnover to increase in the next three months outnumbered those expecting a decrease. However, the difference was less obvious than one month previously. In May, optimists outnumbered pessimists by 12 percent, compared with 22 percent in April.
Opinions of providers of business services on the economic climate improved further. Their expectations about future employment in their branch were positive for the first time in about 18 months. In May, the number of business services providers expecting employment to grow over the next three months slightly exceeded those expecting a reduction in employment (3 percent net).
The mood among temp job agencies has lifted lately. Providers of temp jobs were very optimistic about their future turnover, future employment in their branch and the economic climate in general.
