Business services providers remain optimistic
In April, the number of business services providers expecting turnover to increase in the next three months easily outnumbered those expecting a decline. However, the difference was somewhat less obvious than one month previously. In April, optimists outnumbered pessimists by 22 percent, as against 25 percent in March.
Opinions of providers of business services on the economic climate improved for the sixth consecutive month. They were also less pessimistic about future employment in their branch than they were in March. In April, the number of business services providers expecting employment to grow over the next three months was more or less equal to those expecting a reduction in employment.
Turnover in the sector business services can be affected by seasonal variation. These effects have not been taken into account.
