Green area for recreational purposes covering at least 1 ha.

Parks and public gardens include:

• areas accessible to the public consisting of lawns, playing fields, paths, groves, flowerbeds, shrubs and ponds;
• greenbelts

Parts of parks covered with trees (also if they exceed 1 ha) are classified as parks or public gardens.
