Green electricity certificate

A green electricity certificate is a document required by the supplier to prove that they are indeed selling green electricity. The supplier can apply for the document, if they have generated the electricity themselves or bought electricity from other producers of green electricity in the Netherlands or abroad. In the Netherlands, these certificates are issued by CertiQ.
