Basic leave
The statistics on collective wage agreements take account of the basic leave applicable for all employees. However, some days leave are not included in the basic entitlement, as they are conditional. For example: extra leave granted on the basis of age or as compensation for shift work.
If these conditional days are withdrawn in a collective agreement, and the unconditional basic leave increases, this is reflected in the hourly wage rate: this changes as the number of hours worked per year changes. The monthly wage rate does not change however.
