Happy and satisfied

Whether people were happy and satisfied was determined on the basis of the questions: ‘To what extent do you feel you are a happy person?’ and ‘To what extent are you satisfied with the life you lead now?’. People who responded to the first question with ‘very happy’ or ‘happy’ belong to the happy people. People who responded to the question on satisfaction with ‘extremely satisfied’, ‘very satisfied’ or just  ‘satisfied’ belong to the satisfied people.

These are questions to respondents aged over 12 in the quality of life survey (POLS)in the period 2006-2008.
