Spending on education

Spending on education consists of spending by the government, households, enterprises, and organisations abroad, on education establishments and study financing as well as government subsidies for education expenditure provided to households and enterprises.

The government spending on households and enterprises in this article does not include the subsidies for tuition fees and apprentice and training programmes. This is done to avoid double counting in total spending.
