Holiday-related CO2 emissions as part of total CO2 emissions generated by the Dutch population
In this article, the share of holiday-related CO2 emissions are calculated on the basis of the total from the NAMEA accounts as opposed to the 9 percent referred to in the publication Tourism and Recreation in the Netherlands 2009. The percentage deviates from the percentage as published in the Web Magazine article, because the NAMEA data were not available at the time Tourism and Recreation in the Netherlands 2009 was published. The percentage was therefore estimated.
