Employed labour force

The employed labour force includes all people working at least 12 hours a week.

The number of people who lose their jobs can be calculated by quarterly comparison of the employed labour force and the unemployed labour force. Outflow from the employed to the unemployed labour force equals the number of people who were employed in a particular quarter and unemployed in the next quarter.
