Mobility of employees
Mobility of employees is defined as the number of employees who, from one quarter to the next, have moved to a new job. In this article, data are presented of employees who have moved to another job in the second quarter relative to the first quarter. The first two quarters have been taken into account, because in this period of the year results are not affected by seasonal variation. Flexible and permanent contracts have been taken into account. Self-employed have not been taken into account. Job mobility only refers to the first job, i.e. the job in which most hours (at least twelve hours a week) are worked. This applies to the job prior to as well as after mobility. Data presented in this article are based upon the Labour Force Survey (EBB).
