Student earnings
Income from labour or from own enterprise.
Income from labour consists of wage/salary, including employer and employee-paid social insurance contributions, bonuses, save-as-you-earn deductions, and remuneration of labour not carried out in employment. The value of the private use of a company car is also included.
Income from own enterprise consists of the operating result before tax, plus investment allowance.
This article refers only to income of students in higher education entitled to a study grant or loan under the Study Finance Act (Wet Studiefinanciering). The figures are form Statistics Netherlands’ Income Panel Survey.
