Part-time jobs
The distinction between part-time and full-time jobs in EU countries refers to the most important job. The answer is based upon the respondent’s own judgment.
The figures referring to the Netherlands, Ireland and Sweden have been calculated in a different manner. In these three countries, the definition of a part-time job is based upon the weekly number of hours worked. A working part-timer is he/she who works less than 35 hours a week in what they consider their most important job.
