The Wajong Act, the Dutch Disablement Assistance Act for Handicapped Young Persons is a provision for the financial consequences of long-term occupational disablement for people who cannot claim WAO benefits because they have no employment record. These are people who are occupationally disabled on the day they turn 17, or students who become occupationally disabled after 17.
