In the Safety Monitor, crimes are subcategorised into violent crimes (sexual offences, assault and threat), crimes against property (burglary and attempted burglary, bicycle theft, car theft and theft from cars, pickpocketing with or without violence and other types of theft), vandalism (car damage/theft of /from cars and other types of vandalism), hit-and-run accidents and other crimes not further specified.
