Share of goods transported in containers

The share of goods transported in containers is the gross weight of the goods excluding tarra (weight of the container). 

The classification of goods is based upon the Nomenclature Uniforme des Marchandises pour les Statistiques de Transport, Revisée (NSTR). This classification has been used widely since 1967. Only the initial two positions have been used. It concerns goods chapters (10) and groups of goods (52).
