Producers’ confidence according to the European definition

The results refer to producers’ confidence according to the European definition. Because Eurostat uses different methods to correct for seasonal and bias effects, producers’ confidence according to the European definition differs slightly from the figures Statistics Netherlands publishes.

Both indicators are composed of the same three questions, however; they concern:

– expected output in the next three months;
– opinions on stocks of finished products;
– opinions on the state of the order books.
