Dutch labour disability schemes are based on four acts: the Occupational Disability Insurance Act (WAO), the Disablement Provision Act for Disabled from an Early Age (Wajong), the Disablement Act for Self-employed (WAZ) and the Act on Work and Income according to Labour Capacity (WIA). The WIA comprises two schemes, the Work Resumption Scheme for Partially Disabled (WGA) and the Income Provision Scheme for Fully Disabled (IVA).
