Turnover growth construction sector 10 percent in 2007
Turnover in the construction sector grew by nearly 10 percent in 2007, breaking the 80 billion euro barrier for the first time. Turnover increase was realised across all branches of the construction sector.
The largest growth by 10 percent was recorded in the most important branch of the sector, i.e. residential and non-residential building. In civil engineering, turnover growth was in excess of 7 percent. Turnover in other branches, e.g. installers, painters and decorators also increased by more than 10 percent.
