Everyone with paid work or self-employed for at least 1 hour a week. As the study was conducted in the context of an international project, and international comparability is therefore important, the 1 hour limit was applied. Statistics Netherlands’ usual definition of the employed labour force is based on people who work for at least 12 hours a week.
