Survey data

Statistics Netherlands has recently adopted an estimation method based on the Integrated System of Social Surveys (POLS) to establish the number of Muslims in the Netherlands. In this annual survey, Statistics Netherlands interviews approximately 10 thousand people about their religious denomination. Islam is a separate category.
POLS is a sample survey and therefore the results are subject to a margin of error.
