International relations
The aim of international relations is to represent the national interest abroad in the widest sense. This includes foreign policy, state visits, diplomatic and consular missions (such as embassies), cultural services abroad and contributing to the general costs of international organisations of a general nature.
The international relations only involves types of international cooperation of a general nature. International cooperation in specific areas, such as development aid, military peace missions, education and public health are included in the specific policy areas.
