Robust turnover growth for service providers
Providers of business services can look back on a very satisfactory first quarter in 2007. Turnover increased by more than 11 percent relative to the first quarter of 2006. Temp agencies and computer service providers largely accounted for the turnover growth in the first quarter. Growing activities in the sector business services created many extra jobs, particularly temp jobs. Turnover increased by 22 percent in the first quarter of 2007. The number of hours worked in temp jobs and outsourced projects also grew considerably in this period.
The market for computer service providers improved further in 2007. Turnover in this sector rose by nearly 13 percent. The current economic growth prompts entrepreneurs to invest in IT and catch up on overdue maintenance.
