Domestic renewable sources

In 2006, the amount of renewable energy from domestic sources corresponded to the natural gas consumption of 1.8 million households.

The Dutch government aims to generate 10 percent of total energy consumption in the Netherlands from renewable sources in 2020. The objective for 2010 is set at 5 percent (Protocol Monitoring Renewable Energy, SenterNovem 2004).
