Business Cycle Tracer

In the Business Cycle Tracer fifteen carefully selected indicators are combined in one picture, and together show whether the economy is doing well or poorly, and whether it is improving or deteriorating. By placing the monthly pictures in sequence, a film results of the course of the business cycle. This can be done interactively on Statistics Netherlands’ website for the period 1990 to today. These are real-time data: they show the assessment of the economic situation on the basis of the data available at that time.
