Sentiment indicators of the European Commission

There are a number of differences in how the EC and Statistics Netherlands calculate their indicators. The differences are largest for consumer confidence. They are described in the focus Two indicators for Dutch consumer confidence, 12 April 2006. For producer confidence the calculation differs mainly with regard to correction for seasonal effects.
