Continuous fall in number of bankruptcies
In July this year 319 businesses and institutions (excluding one-man businesses) went bankrupt. This is 18 percent fewer than in July 2005.
The number of businesses declared bankrupt in a particular month also depends on the number of days courts are in session, so the number may vary strongly from one month to the next. Therefore, the 3 months average is a more reliable indicator. In July, the average stood at 351, considerably lower than in June. The downward trend in the number of bankruptcies continues in July.
