During work on an update of the satellite account for culture and media, it was discovered that due to an incorrect calculation in previous versions, the size of the audiovisual domain was overestimated and the visual arts domain was underestimated.
This does not affect the total size of culture and media products in the Dutch economy, only the size of the audiovisual and visual arts domains (and associated subdomains other audiovisual and photography).
In the new version of the satellite account for culture and media, which is expected to be published at the end of 2024, this omission will be corrected retroactively.
