Description topics
- Alcohol consumption, 12 years or older
- The questions on consuming alcohol are asked to all persons aged 12 years or older.
- Drink status
- Drinkers
- The percentage of persons in the population aged 12 years or older that answered ‘Yes’ to the question: ‘Did you ever drink an alcoholic beverage during the last 12 months, such as beer, wine, spirits, mixed drinks or cocktails? Beer without alcohol or containing only little alcohol does not count.’ From 2020, the question has been changed to: "Have you ever drunk alcohol in the past 12 months, for example beer, wine, spirits, mixed drinks or cocktails? By this we also mean low-alcohol beer, but not non-alcoholic beer ".
- Former drinkers
- The percentage of persons in the population aged 12 years or older that answered ‘No’ to the question: ‘Did you ever drink an alcoholic beverage during the last 12 months, such as beer, wine, spirits, mixed drinks or cocktails? - Average number of glasses per day per drinker of 12 years or older.
