Why have I been assigned a different SBI code when my activities have not changed?

An SBI revision looks at the classification of business activities (the SBI code system) and makes changes where advisable.

Some SBI codes are merged, others are subdivided or resequenced. In addition, codes that currently consist of four levels will be given a fifth level by adding a zero. As a result, many companies will be assigned a different SBI code. This will have no effect on a company’s activities.
