My output has been withheld, but a similar output was released last time. How can this be?
We work with a large team of output checkers. Our checkers try to assess outputs as consistently as possible based on the output guidelines. Where possible, we also try to assign the same controllers to the same output. However, this is not always possible, and therefore checkers may sometimes make different assessments about the disclosure risk in an output. If you believe that the output was unjustly withheld and does comply with the guidelines or agreements, you can send an explanation by email.
