Productivity dispersion manufacturing, 1978-2016

This study describes the changes in productivity differences between firms operating in the Dutch manufacturing sector.

In this report the productivity differences between firms in Dutch manufacturing was investigated. Based on the Production Statistics, the results provide evidence for a long-term structural increase of the productivity differences over the period 1978 to 2016. This widening occurred to a similar degree both in the period before and after 2000.
