Time series modeling of mobility trends – update 2020
Using multilevel time-series models for estimation of mobility trends.
The Dutch Travel Survey is an annual sample survey used to compile statistics about mobility of residents of the Netherlands. This survey has undergone several redesigns. In an earlier report, a multilevel time-series model is developed to estimate mobility trends at a detailed level by person and journey characteristics accounting for discontinuities due to redesigns. In this paper, the model is extended with data obtained under a new survey design that was implemented in 2018.
