Connecting correction methods for linkage error in CRC
A population register does not always contain the total population. The capture-recapture method can be used to estimate the size of the population missing in a register. However, this method relies on linkages between registers, which may contain errors. This paper discusses how the capture-recapture method can deal with this problem.
In this discussion paper the linkage error correction methods by Ding and Fienberg (1994) and Di Consiglio & Tuoto (2015) are extended and generalised.
