Remaining (healthy) life expectancy

This interactive graph shows the age average Dutch men or women can expect to reach in a certain state of health. The pyramid shows the remaining life expectancy per age, based on the 2013 mortality risks. The pyramid is subdivided into remaining life expectancy in perceived good health, without physical limitations, without chronic disease, or in good mental health. If you click on an age at the centre of the pyramid, the graph below the pyramid will give an extra breakdown of the remaining life expectancy and remaining life expectancy in the selected health status by education level. These outcomes are based on average values for 2009-2012.
