Hospital admissions

This interactive graph shows the number of hospital admissions since 1993 for a number of diagnoses. To select a diagnosis, use the ‘Diagnosis’ button. The ‘Subject’ button determines what the graph shows about the selected diagnosis: the total number of hospital admissions, the number of in-patient and day cases, or the duration of hospitalisation. The bottom graph shows a time series starting in 1993. The top graph shows the breakdown per year by age, and depending on the subject selected, the sex or type of hospitalisation. To start the graph, click on the button in the bottom graph.

The data are based on the Landelijke Medische Registratie (Dutch Hospital Data, Utrecht).
