Divorce risks for the Netherlands

This paper describes two methods to calculate the risk of divorce by marriage duration and country of origin. Both methods, the longitudinal and the transversal method, give comparable results and provide a good estimation of the risk of divorce for couples of mixed foreign background and couples of same foreign background.
