Why are the default p-values in the stepwise selection 0.2 and 0.15 instead of 0.05?
These p-values are used in the process of selection of changepoints and are conventional values in stepwise procedures. In the end, the significance of changes can be tested against the 0.05 level. See section 2.7.2 in the manual for details.
