Toelichting onderwerpen

Personen met een uitkering
Personen die ten minste een van de volgende uitkeringen ontvangen:
-de bijstandsuitkeringen, deze worden verstrekt op grond van de Algemene
bijstandswet (ABW).
Bijstandsuitkeringen worden uitgekeerd aan huishoudens. Indien
het huishouden bestaat uit een paar, al dan niet met kinderen, hebben
beide partners recht op de helft van de uitkering. In dit onderzoek zijn
beide partners als aparte uitkeringsontvangers meegeteld;
-de arbeidsongeschiktheidsuitkeringen. Deze worden verstrekt krachtens
de WAO, WAZ of Wajong.
WAO = Wet op de arbeidsongeschiktheidsverzekering.
WAZ = Wet arbeidsongeschiktheidsverzekering zelfstandigen.
Wajong = Wet arbeidsongeschiktheidsvoorziening jonggehandicapten.
-de werkloosheidsuitkeringen volgens de Werkloosheidswet (WW).
Samenloop (een persoon ontvangt tegelijkertijd verschillende uitkeringen,
bijvoorbeeld een arbeidsongeschiktheidsuitkering en een bijstands-
uitkering) komt voor bij 45 duizend uitkeringsontvangers. Hierdoor is de
som van de personen met een bijstandsuitkering, de personen met een
arbeidsongeschiktheidsuitkering en de personen met een WW-uitkering
groter dan het totaal aantal personen met een uitkering.
Totaal personen met een uitkering
Personen die ten minste een van de volgende uitkeringen ontvangen:

Naar herkomstgroepering
Autochtonen
Autochtonen. Personen die in Nederland geboren zijn en van wie ook beide
ouders in Nederland geboren zijn, alsmede personen die in het buitenland
geboren zijn en van wie beide ouders in Nederland geboren zijn. Alle
overige personen worden gerekend tot de allochtonen.
Allochtonen
Allochtonen. Personen van wie minstens één ouder in het buitenland
geboren is.
Westerse allochtonen
Westerse allochtonen. Het land van herkomst is gelegen in Europa (m.u.v.
Nederland en Turkije), Noord-Amerika, Indonesië, Japan en Oceanië (onder
meer Australië, Nieuw-Zeeland).
Niet-westerse allochtonen
Niet westerse allochtonen. Het land van herkomst is niet gelegen in Europa
(m.u.v. Nederland en Turkije), Noord-Amerika, Indonesië, Japan en Oceanië
(onder meer Australië, Nieuw-Zeeland).
Personen met ABW-uitkering
Personen met een bijstandsuitkering. Deze worden verstrekt op grond van de
Algemene bijstandswet (ABW).
Personen met WAO/WAZ/Wajong-uitkering
Personen met een uitkering krachtens de WAO,
WAZ of Wajong.
WAO = Wet op de arbeidsongeschiktheidsverzekering.
WAZ = Wet arbeidsongeschiktheidsverzekering zelfstandigen.
Wajong = Wet arbeidsongeschiktheidsvoorziening jonggehandicapten.
