Representativity of the Time Use Survey

In 2006 the selection of respondents for the Time Use Survey (‘Tijdbestedingsonderzoek’ or ‘TBO’) consisted of three stages. In this paper we employ R-indicators to investigate the representativity of the TBO response. R-indicators are proposed by Schouten and Cobben (2007) as measures to evaluate the similarity between the response and population of interest.  This research was sponsored by the Netherlands Institute for Social Research (SCP).
