Keuning, Steven J. (1996).This paper addresses the interaction between national accounts and socio-economic policy formulation. In the Netherlands, this interaction mainly occurs through the widespread application of formal economic modelling. Lately, however, the domestic use of national accounts figures swells because of their growing relevance to policy-making and because the Netherlands' national accounts incorporate all kinds of social and environmental data.
