Kazemier, Brugt (1991).This paper discusses three alternative methods for the measurement of the production volume of government. All methods yield almost similar results: the average annual increase in the last two decades of government labour productivity is about 0.7 percent per full-time worker equivalent. The implementation of either one of these methods would have led to circa 0.1 percentage points higher estimates of economic growth in the Netherlands.
