NA/04 Comparability of input-output tables in time
Al, P.G. and G.A.A.M. Broesterhuizen (1985).It is argued that the comparability in time of statistics, and input-output tables in particular, can be filled in in various ways. The way in which it is filled depends on the structure and object of the statistics concerned. In this respect it is important to differentiate between coordinated input-output tables, in which groups of units (industries) are divided into rows and columns, and analytical input-output tables, in which the rows and columns refer to homogeneous activities.
