FEV and PHEV fleet, 2014-2021

This customised table contains data on the total fleet of fully electric and plug-in hybrid cars as at 1 January (2014-2021) as well as the number of new plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) registered in 2020.

The table contains both fully electric vehicles (FEVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) which were included in the vehicle licence registration database of the Netherlands Vehicle Authority (RDW) on 1 January: the status as at 1 January in the years 2014 through 2021.

The table further includes the numbers of newly registered fully electric vehicles (FEVs) in the Netherlands. These are monthly figures over the year 2020. These figure form the basis for the news release on plug-in electric vehicles which appeared in October 2021.
