The report includes the economic valuation of activities at sea (sea shipping, oil and gas production, fishing, sand extraction and off-shore wind energy production) and activities in seaports and in the coastal area of the North Sea.
The report includes the economic valuation of activities at sea (sea shipping, oil and gas production, fishing, sand extraction and off-shore wind energy production) and activities in seaports and in the coastal area of the North Sea. These elements constitute updates on previous versions of the report (last version published in 2014). This study has been carried out in the context of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive, which requires social and economic analysis of the use of the marine environment.
