This report serves as a background document to the EGSS. It presents a description of the methodological changes made to improve and expand the EGSS-account.
In 2016 possibilities were investigated to expand the EGSS-account by including environmental activities, such as activities regarding the MOT-test (vehicle safety) and noise insulation works. Furthermore, existing EGSS components as organic agriculture and environmental education were expanded, and the export figures were improved. Finally, possible integration of the EPEA (Environmental Protection Expenditure Accounts) and the EGSS was investigated, and implemented.
