Employees
Employees aged 15-64 years with a job of at least 12 hours a week. On the basis of the Labour Force Survey, employees can be categorised according to terms of employment:
Employees with permanent employment agreement
1. Employees with a permanent contract for fixed hours
2. Employees with a temporary contract for fixed hours for 1 year or longer
3. Employees with a temporary contract for fixed hours with the likelihood of a permanent contract
Employees with a flexible employment agreement
4. Temp agency workers
5. Standby workers
6. Other flex workers (e.g. temporary contract without the prospect of permanent contract or employees without fixed hours)
in this article employees with a permanent contract for fixed hours (1) and was supplemented with employees with a temporary contract for fixed hours for 1 year or longer (2). The latter category accounted for 1 to 2 percent of all employees between 1996 and 2010.
Employees with a temporary contract and prospect of a permanent contract are employees with a temporary contract for fixed hours with the likelihood of a permanent contract (3).
